Detailed Counselling Procedure of WBJEE 2020
The WBJEE 2020 detailed counselling procedure for admission into various WBJEE participating colleges is now available at CollegeDekho. The counselling process for WBJEE 2020 entrance exam will be conducted in three rounds followed by the seat allotment to the deserving candidates. The counselling will be conducted online and the Institutes will be responsible to update the number of seats vacant after each round of the WBJEE counselling procedure for the year 2020.
Here is the step-wise detailed counselling procedure of WBJEE 2020 that will be followed by the concerned body:
Step 1: Registration:
This is the first step of the WBJEE 2020 counselling process in which the candidates have to register themselves for the counselling process. The candidates will be required to visit the official WBJEE website, which is www.wbjeeb.nic.in for the registration purpose. The candidates will be redirected to the WBJEEB home page where they can see the WBJEE 2020 counselling link mentioned under the “Important Links” section. The candidates have to click on the very link and which will lead them WBJEE online counselling student login page. The candidates have to enter their Roll Number, Password and other requisite details to get going with the counselling process.
Step 2: Fee Deposition:
In this step, the candidates have to deposit INR 500/- as the counselling fee via any of the available online payment methods. The candidates can submit the counselling amount through credit card, debit card or net banking. The counselling fee is non-refundable in nature which will not be refunded back to the candidates under any circumstance.
Step 3: Choice Filling and Choice Locking:
In this step, the candidates have to fill their choices and lock their choices from the list of colleges and courses available on the website. The candidates must lock their choices in decreasing order of priority. Those candidates who fail to lock their choices before the given deadline will not be taken into consideration for seat allotment and counselling process. Once the last date of choice locking is over, the candidates can only view their choices but cannot alter or modify them.
